Kids And Money: Bill And Penny’s Money Adventures Book Review

Kids And Money: Bill And Penny’s Money Adventures Book Review

I bought my 11-year-old daughter, Sara, a copy of Bill And Penny’s Money Adventures, and she enjoyed it so much that she insisted on writing a review for me.

So here’s what she learned from Amar Pandit’s book that “helps children learn all about money and new concepts such as savings budgeting, spending, borrowing, investing, taxation and insurance”.

1. What is the book about?

The book is about how two kids (Bill and Penny) use money to help their friends and teach them how to use it properly – how to save money, how to make sure no one can steal it, etc.

2. What did it teach you?

It teaches kids how to save money, distinguish Real money versus Fake money, taxes, banking and other transactions. And if I was in your place, I would like to earn money by hard work and use it to help others.

3. How did it help you understand money transactions?

The stories are very good to help kids (especially young ones) understand money transactions and spend it properly. For instance, one story teaches us how to use money that we win properly, not waste it and realize that there is no such thing as ‘free money’.

4. Why would you recommend it to kids and their parents?

I would recommend it to them because along with money concepts, some of the stories teach us to be more giving and caring people.

5. What do you think the author could do to improve it?

I don’t think he could do anything to improve it because he has written it so well! (No lies!)
