Video games are tons of fun, but for youngsters, playing time should be limited to a couple of hours a week. If you show your child some fun ideas for getting outside and playing, they’ll be more apt to put down the video game controller and have some fun in the sun.

Don't neglect teaching science to your kids until upper mathematics is completed. Just be sure that the student develops the ability to learn through observation. Science is life and the best way is to follow the child's natural interests, explore and offer many opportunities of discovery.

Twenty-two year old Jared Loughner killed six and wounded 14 innocent people in Tucson. This tragic event is a wake up call. We need to identify root causes and examine solutions for violent behavior. Human beings have the power to make choices for good or evil regardless of what has happened in the past.
